I am taking a poll….

What is your favorite kind of cake and frosting? I need as many responses as I can. I am tired of the same old almond white cake and chocolate cake, if those are you favorites still let me know but I am looking for new flavors. Even the lurkers can respond…make your voice heard!

Thanks!

BTW- I forgot to mention Fallen Souffle turned a year old on September 25th (atleast I think it was that day) Here is a trip down memory lane. Wow I can’t believe how it has grown!

I grew up always having a orange birthday cake (flavor, not necessarily color, lol) and I think it had a white frosting.

Cream cheese frosting is by far my favorite of all frostings tho.

I also saw on a episode of Whose Wedding Is It Anyways that a bride was trying out a really good looking hazelnut layered cake. I’ve never had that but it sure looked good. :O)

I love devil’s food cake with a “seven-minute” (sugar and egg whites beaten over heat) frosting. Mmmm.

One of my favorite cakes is applesauce cake. We usually eat it unfrosted, but you can use the same type of frosting that is used on a carrot cake.
